The Lee Family Cemetery

In a wide open field, down a single-lane dirt road is the family cemetery.

Here lyeth the body of RICHARD LEE, Esq. born in
Virginia, son of RICHARD LEE Gentleman, desended of an
Ancient family of Morton Regis in Shropshire, while
he […]sed the Office of a Magistrat he was a zealous
Promoter of the publick good.  He was very skillful
in the Greek and Latin Language and other parts
of the learning.  He quietly resigned his soul to God
Whom he always devoutly worshipped the 12th day
Of March in the year 1714 in the 68 year of his age.
Here lyeth the body of LETTICE his faithful wife a
Most tender mother of her Children, daughter of
Henry Corbin Gentleman He was the eminenr for piety
Toward God, Charity towards the poor and kindness
Towards all died in the 6th of ober 1706 in the 49th
