Capt. Joshua Reamy

Joshua Reamy, born May 1, 1792, married 1st Meriah Neale, daughter of John Neale on June 22, 1814 in Westmoreland County. Sadly, Meriah died prior to August 1818, as Joshua married 2nd Fanny Morris on Aug., 31st 1818.

The owner of Stoney Hill, Richmond County, Joshua was listed as Captain in the Militia in 1832; he sold his holdings in Richmond County, Va., circa 1835-36 and removed to Stafford County, Va., where he passed away on November 5, 1857.

Son Thomas Reamy, of Falmouth, Stafford County, Va., was Administrator for the estate Rosier, Sugar Land and Monroe Hall, all located in Westmoreland were sold.
