Grant of Samuel
MATHEWS Esqr. unto Henry FOOTMAN of
300 acres in Westmoreland County on the south
side of the Oquia (sic) River, bounded on the
east northeast side with Oquia (sic) River, on
the south southeast side with a swamp which
divides this land and the land of Mr. PATTEN,
west southwest into the woods, north northwest
upon the land of Richard CODSFORD, formerly
granted by pattent unto Edward PARKER 10 June
1654 and by PARKER assigned unto Henry FOOTMAN 1
9br (November) 1656, acknowledged in Court 31
March last past by Thomas WILSFORD, attorney of
PARKER.
