Bertheleny Puy, [1653 - 1743] Capt. of the Household Guards of Louis XIV. Went to Germany 1685; then England 1699, came to Virginia in 1700.
Walter Brodhurst, [1619 - 1661] of Westmoreland County. Son of William Brodhurst, gent., of Lilleshall, Shropeshire.
Rev. Archibald Campbell, [in Virginia 1754, &ct.] Son of Archibald Campbell, of Kirnan, Argyleshire Scotland and his wife Anna Stewart, of Ascog.
Sir John Earle, [1614 - 1660] Son of Sir Richard Earle of Dorset County England. Came from England about 1649 - 1652 and settled in Westmoreland County, Virginia.
Doctor John Edwards, son of Thomas, grandson of Richard of Lancaster County England. Came from Wales in 1620 - 1623. Settled in Northumberland County first and later in Lancaster County.
Gerard (Gerrard) Fowke, [died 1669] Son of Roger Fowke of Gunston Hall, Staffordshire.  Gentleman of the bedchamber of Charles I. Came to Virginia in 1650. Wealthy merchant & planter and was also a Burgess from Westmoreland County. Eventually moved to Maryland.
Thomas Fowke, [died 1663] Brother to Gerard.  Of James City and Westmoreland County.
John Foxhall, [d. 1704], Westmoreland County; left real and personal estate at Bromingham (Birmingham), Warwickshire.
Thomas Gerrard, [d. 1673], Westmoreland County; emigrated from England to Maryland; but removed to Virginia, where he died.  In his will he gives to his son Justinian his right to any land in England.  Justinian Gerrard was JP for Westmoreland 1668, but removed to Maryland, where he died.  In his will, dated 1682, he bequeathed lands in Lancashire.

George Gordon,  [d. 1786] Westmoreland County; bequeathed lands at Sheepsbridge, Clogheramer, Lisduff, Carmern and Daryoghly, all in County Down, Ireland.

John Hallows, [in Virginia 1655, ect.]  Westmoreland County, “late of Rochdale, in the county of Lancaster”; born about 1615.  In 1732, his heir, Samuel Hallows Esq., lived at Ashwick, Lancashire.  He was a descendant of Samuel Hallows of England, elder brother of John Hallows.
Samuel Hayward, [in Virginia 1637, &c.), Westmoreland county; son of Nicholas Hayward, grocer, of London.
Daniel Hutt, [d. 1674], Westmoreland county; formerly merchant of London, and at another time master of the ship Mayflower.
Richard Lee, [1519 - 1584] Came to Virginia in 1641. Served as Secretary of State; King's Counselor. Owned land in both York and Westmoreland Counties. Member of the Council & a Justice.
George Luke,  [in Virginia 1690 ect.]  Westmoreland County; son of Oliver Luke, Esq., of Woodend, Bedfordshire.
Roderick McCulloch, came to Virginia 1727. Rector Washington Parish, Westmoreland County, Virginia. Returned to Scotland in 1745 and died there.
John Marshal, [1596 - 1660] Came from England to Jamestown about 1650 and finally settled in Westmoreland County.
Nicholas Meriwether, born in Wales 1631, died James City, Virginia, December 15th 1678. Owned land in Lancaster, Westmoreland and Surry Counties.
Doctor Paul Micou, [1658 - 1736] Huguenot. Settled in Essex County, Virginia before 1695. Justice, Physician, Lawyer.
Andrew Monroe, [died 1668] Son of David and Agnes Monroe of Scotland. Taken prisoner of war in Scotland and banished to America 1648. Settled in Northumberland County and then moved to Westmoreland County.
Edward Mountjoy, [in Virginia 1695, &c.]  Westmoreland County; brother of Thomas Mountjoy, of Bristol, merchant.
John Newton, [d. 1697] Westmoreland County; had lived at Anlaby, Yorkshire; eldest son of Thomas Newton, of Hull.  John Newton bequeathed lands at Carlton and Camelsforth, Yorkshire and the house in Hull “which was my father’s”.
James Oldham, came from England 1635 and settled in Westmoreland County.
Thomas Osborne, Captain, came from England 1620, settled at Coxendale on the James River.
Malachy Peale, [in Virginia 1674, &c.]  Westmoreland County; in 1673 was of Exeter, Devon.
Henry Peyton, [1630 – 1659], Westmoreland County; son of Henry Peyton, Esq., of Lincoln’s Inn (d. 1636) and brother of Sir Robert Peyton, Knt., of East Barnet (d. 1689).
Valentine Peyton, [1627 – 1665), Westmoreland County; brother of Henry Peyton, preceding. 
Colonel Nathaniel Pope, [abt 1610 - April 1660] Came from England in 1634. First lived in Maryland, then came to Virginia in 1650 and settled in Westmoreland County.
Thomas Speke, [1603 – 1659) Westmoreland County; brother of John Speke, of Bath and Plymouth.
Nicholas Spencer, [d. 1689), Westmoreland County; son of Nicholas Spencer, Esq., of Cople Bedfordshire, and his wife Mary, daughter of Sir Edward Gostwick, Bart., of Willington, Bedfordshire. 
Robert Vaulx, [1651 - 1685), Westmoreland County; son of Robert and Elizabeth Vaulx, of London. 
John Washington, went from Purleigh County, Essex, England to Barbados; then Surry County, Virginia, about 1650. John is the son of Sir John, Knight of Thrapston, Northhamptonshire and brother to Lawrence, Rector of Church of England.
Colonel John Washington, [1635 - 1677], son of Rev. Lawrence Washington, the Rector of Purleigh County, Essex, England. Came from England 1656 and settled in Westmoreland County.
Lawrence Washington, [1635-1677] Brother of Colonel John of Westmoreland County. Was in Virginia by 1659 and settled in Essex County.
Lieutenant Edward Walters, [1568 - 1630] Came from England in "Sea Venture" 1618 and settled on the south bank of the James River.
