Col. William Robinson
...died 20 September 1742 at his estate Bunker Hill, the plantation at Southery Ferry, near Leedstown.

William Robinson
Owned the ferry just below Leedstown which plied from his farm to Essex County across the Rappahannock River.  A vestryman at Bray's Church, and a member of the Committee of Safety, 1774-75.

Listed as a 1st Lt., in Capt. Rochester's Company of the County Militia, 1777.  Was also listed as a Slave Owner in 1782.
