COLONIAL BEACH OYSTER STEW (with meat)
Local Oysters make this old-fashioned meal special.

1 quart oysters
2 slices fat meat
salt and pepper to taste

Drain liquid from oysters; strain and put aside. Wash oysters & place back in strained liquor. Cut meat into small pieces and fry.

Add meat to oysters and stew until oysters begin to curl. Remove oysters to a hot covered dish, allowing liquor to boil an additional 2 - 3 minutes longer. Pour over oysters and serve. 6 servings.
