In the name of God, Amen.  I Sarah Vigar of the County of Westmoreland and
State of Virginia, do on the second day of January in the year of our Lord, eighteen hundred and ten, make this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
 
First, I give to my Great Grand Son John Beane Tiffey all my lands in the county of Westmoreland or, elsewhere, to him & his heirs forever.
 
2.ly   I give to my great grand Son John Beane Tiffey, the following Negroes Charles, a young man,  ******, a boy of ten years of age, and Fanny a girl of ten or twelve years of age, to him and his heirs forever.
 
3.ly  I give to my Grand Daughter Frances Doleman, a young Negro woman named Charlotte, and her increase to her use for her life: and after her death to her children that she may leave.
 
4.th  I give to my Grand Daughter Eleanor Vigar, a Negro girl named Aggy with her increase –forever.
 
5.th  I give to my great grand Daughter Mary C. Tiffey a Negro fellow named Bob forever.
 
6.th  I give to my Grand Daughter Eleanor Vigar one feather bed and furniture.
 
7.th  I give to my great grand Daughter Mary C. Tiffey one feather bed and furniture.
 
8.th  I give my round walnut dining table to my  Grand Daughter Eleanor Vigar.
 
9.th  I give my largest chest to my Great Grand Daughter Sarah Tiffey.
 
10.th I give my loom to my Grand Daughter Eleanor Vigar, and with my large trunk.
 
11.th  I give to my Grand Daughter Eleanor Vigar my looking glass.
 
12.th  It is my will that after all my just debts are paid that all the money that I may have by me, or in any respect due me, with all the Crop that may be on my land—be equally divided between the children of Pope Tiffey that he had by my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Tiffey, Eleanor Vigar: and the children of my Grand Daughter Frances Doleman.
 
13.th  I give my little horse to my Grand Daughter Eleanor Vigar.
 
14.th  It is my will that all of my stock of whatsoever nature or kind not before devised, be equally divided between the children of Pope Tiffey that he had by my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Tiffey my Grand Daughter Eleanor Vigar: and the children of my grand Daughter Frances Doleman.
 
15.th  I give all of my house and kitchen furniture not before devised, to be equally divided  among my Great Grand Children and my Grand Daughter Eleanor Vigar.
 
16.th  I give further to my great grand Daughter Mary Pope Tiffey a Negro woman named Ann, and her daughter Ann forever.
 
17.th  I give the all the rest of my Negros not before devised equally to be divided between the children of Pope Tiffey that he had by my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Tiffey, William Vigar, Eleanor Vigar, and Frances Doleman.
 
—But it is my will that my Grand Daughter Frances Doleman have only the use and enjoyment of the Negros devised to her in this Clause for her life: and then to go to her children forever.
 
18.th  I constitute and appoint Pope Tiffey, John Payne, and George Quesenbury executors of this my last will and testament.  Given under my hand the day and year first above written.
